From Hair to Eternity

Wedding season is upon.  As your wedding day gets closer, it's time to start  zeroing on the many details of your wedding day look. One of the most stressful maybe choosing you wedding day hairstyle. When trying to decide there are a few elements to consider which may help in your decision.

What type of look and feel do you want to convey,  Soft and romantic or sleek and sophisticated?
Do you want to wear your  hair similair to your look or are you looking for a totally different hairstyle?

Dealing with Mother Nature:  Keep in mind the weather. Will you be inside all day or near the beach with a sea breeze? Even the most seasoned hair dresses have to keep the elements of  mother nature in the fore front of their mind when creating long lasting wedding day hairstyles. You may want to consider having your favorite wedding day hairstyle and then possibly a style B, if weather elements may jeopardize your look.

How does you hair hold curl or how does it react to humidity?   In planning your wedding day hairstyle many times it is best to pick a style that is enhances the natural beauty of your hair.  Have a head full of curls?  Use a styling product that enhances your curls and go for a soft romantic hairstyle with your natural curls, whether you choose an updo or wear it down.

If you have hair that  just wont hold a curl, then I suggest finding a beautiful
updo that will look elegant and stay perfect from morning until night.

Consider Your Wedding Dress Style.  If you dress has back detailing then you will want to consider either an updo or an elegant side ponytail.

If your dress had a lot of detail,a sleek simple hairstyle may work best.  However if you have a big full ball gown style wedding dress, remember to keep in mind.balance in your over all look.  I would suggest a hair style with a bit  fullness to help balance the fullness of the dress.

Many of ModelBride's bride schedule their hair and make trial several hours before their fitting this way they can go to their fitting with hair & complete to be sure it is a match made in heaven.

Moody Blues

Warm weather is here and summer weddings are filling up the calendars.  Love is in the Air as is Color!  Brides are going to the extreme with their Something Blue.  In years past brides would add a touch of blue in a garter of strategically pinned ribbon as their lucky Something Blue.  Today's brides are using Blue and their wedding accent color.  The shades of blues are soothing and are perfect for a summer wedding no matter what the location, beach, garden or city wedding.

There are some many ways to incorporate color through out the wedding.  It may start with  the bridesmaid dresses  but it doesn't stop there.  Brides are matching their own shoes to the bridesmaid dresses.  Don't forget the men.  Add a splash of color with the groomsmen with bright colored socks, cuff links, ties and vest.  Bright Blue vases holding white flowers are stunning.  Carry your color into the night by picking a themed cocktail with a blue hue.

Blue is a hot color for 2013, but to me it is forever a classic.  Use your imagination, have fun and think of creative ways so use The Blue Hue.
