Wedding Hairstyles Contemporary
If updos aren't for you and you want a sleek, contemporary look this style is a great choice.
Our model has straight hair that's a medium weight but this hairstyle will also work nicely on fine hair.
To achieve this look on thick or wavy hair Lori recommends that it be blown out, straightened with a flat iron and then finished with a straightening product to hold the sleek shape.
The Short and Long
This style is appropriate for hair that falls below your chin or longer. A Hair Extension Set is a great way to add a more length if you want it.
Simple Style
This is a beginner level hairstyle so it's perfect if you're going to be doing your own hair, or getting help from mom or a friend. Lori simply parts the hair on the side which creates a really soft look, and then she uses a flat iron to take out any stray waves or curls.
Tease at the Top
To give shape and a bit of drama to the style, Lori teases the hair at the crown of the head and then smooths the top layer over the teased portion. Finally, the hair is tucked behind the ears.
Accessorize
The perfect spot to place an accessory is just behind one ear. Lori used two small combs on our model. A couple of Crystal Curvy Clips would also look fabulous. To get a different look with the same hairstyle, consider a headband like the Nadalia Crystal Headband.
Makeup Details
Lori used soft, shimmery pinks for the makeup but also went a little glam with a heavy eyeliner and lashes. Check out Lori's expert makeup tips to learn more about this look.
