Janine's Wedding

Angela is the ModelBride stylist who created this gorgeous look for Janine's wedding day.

Angela also did hair and makeup for Janine's mom and sister, and despite a fire alarm and pouring rain Angela says "Everyone looked beautiful when we finished. I stayed on for several more hours until after the ceremony to touch up before the reception (a lot of tears were shed)."

Here is how Angela describes Janine's look. "She has very curly hair and it was wet when I arrived. We blow dried it with some gel and a diffuser and I applied a small amount of hair smoothing creme."

"Next I pulled about 1/3 of hair in back into a low pony tail and loosely pinned in the ends to make a low loose bun effect. I separated each individual curl and applied a little more creme and curled it with a curling iron to lock in shine and define."

"I then pinned each curl back into loose bun. I used the curling iron for about 1/2 the remaining hair and used the more defined natural curls that were left. I finished with hair spray and then a shine spray."

Angela says Janine normally doesn't wear much makeup so she didn't want to over do it for the wedding. Angela says "I kept the foundation and powder light clean with a berry colored cheek stain for blush."

"For the eyes, I used a shimmery ivory colored highlight for the brow bone, a very fine sparkling pink dust on the lids, and a plum color into the crease for contour."

I wrapped the plum color around the outer corner of the eye and blended into the lower lash line. On the top, I applied a thin line of black cake eyeliner blended with a fluff brush to soften.

I used lots of black mascara after curling the lashes. Finally, her lips were softly lined and filled using the "baby lips" pink from the ModelBride Line and Lacquer Lips.
