One: If you have short hair with slightly long layers and you are dreaming of wearing an updo, no problem! A soft updo can be achieved by pinning the hair up section by section. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to start an upd with a ponytail.

Two: If you have thin hair, you can still achieve a fabulous updo by adding a hair fall. The hair fall is dyed to match your hair color. It is clipped in under a layer of your own hair and then styled into the updo. It looks so natural, no one but you and your hair stylist will know it's not yours!

Three: Don't fight your hair's texture, use it! If you have curly hair, enhance it for the wedding day. Natural curls can look polished and controlled by using curling irons of varying sizes.

Four: If you're afraid your updo might fall apart by day's end, ask your stylist to criss-cross the bobby pins she uses in your hair. Doing so secures the clips in place so the style will last.
