Christine's Wedding

Lori says: "When Christine arrived for her trial, she said she wanted soft natural makeup and a fabulous updo, so that's exactly what we did!"

Christy has long very thick straight hair so Lori started by setting it in rollers for a bit of body. The front and side were combed straight back for a clean, classic look. Even though Christy's hair was long and thick, she wanted a lot of height, so Lori pinned hair padding to the crown of her head and then combed her long hair over the padding. Her ends were then criss-crossed in the back to create a bit of interest and give the style a polished look.

Lori used a cream beige foundation to ightly to even out Christy's skin tone. She used the apricot blush from ModelBride's Naturally Beautiful Beauty Box and applied it to the apple of the cheeks.

On the eyelids, Lori used golden champagne and just slightly above the crease, applied a rich mink color to add a bit of drama. The eyes were lined with dark brown liner and mascara and top and bottom.

Christy's skin tone was just right for the Line and Lacquer Lips in peach parfait which gave her a touch of color and shine. To finish the makeup Lori applied oil blotting powder to the forehead, nose and chin to eliminate shine.
