How is it attached?

The hair is carefully woven by hand into a flexible round base that is fitted with a plastic comb as well as a smaller metal "clip comb". Both are meant to securely attach to your own hair, and stay put even if you have thin hair.

You simply part your own hair at the crown - or wherever you want to create the updo - then secure the piece with the combs, and finally let your own hair fall over and around the hair piece.
