Bridal Shower Tips

Looking for an alternative from the traditional bridal shower or wild night out bachelorette party? Treating the bride and her bridal party to a relaxing luncheon in a tea room is what’s Trending Now.

Just last week I enjoyed this experience first hand at Mary Cassatt Tea Room at the Rittenhouse Square Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As I entered the Tea Room a sense of relaxation came over me. The décor was a calming oasis of shades of ivory and just enough touches of delicate lace to make me feel like the Queen of England. As the refined waiters described the decant menu, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Champagne and finger sandwiches, sensuous teas and yummy desserts, what more could a girl – bride want? As I poured my Duchess blend tea from the dainty tea pots and nibbled on the heavenly homemade macaroons and scones I couldn’t help but feel like Princess Kate. This truly is a treat for the stressed out bride.

As the afternoon came to an end and I headed onto the busy Philly streets I wanted to retreat back into my happy place at the tea room. Can I do this every weekend?
